Subject: Sheva (from RE5)

This was fun. Got a lot going on right now. Didn't think that I would get this done. Still want to add some grime to it but no time no time. Now back to playing catch up with my webcomic COUNTER AGENTS [link] , but got some pages down and got one to finish up tomorrow.

Hello, I am the founder of RE5NeedsMoreLove here on Fimfic (re5needsmorelove.deviantart.co…). due to your work here I have decided to move it to my own personal collection in  the group and add a few of my own thoughts as well.

This is my first group, and with that I have learned that when I add a deviation to it I need to wait for the owner to approve of the submission before it shows. with that, I have come to realize that many artists may not approve the addition because of inactivity, exclusiveness, or not caring.

I am saying this because as soon as I saw this, I REALLY hoped that it would be added.

I am not a big fan of Sheva, I have nothing against her, but at the same time nothing for her. But as soon as I saw this I was stunned for a moment. I have seen other drawings of Sheva which have a lot more detail put into them, but when it comes to art it isn't really about what gets put in, but what can be taken out. With this piece, the things I took away was pure terror and desperation. Sheva is strong, just like Chris, but right here is a rare moment of vulnerability, just reaching out to get a finger on salvation while her doom literally has its hand around her ass.

Overall, I think that this is a really impressive piece and am glad that I found it.

In other words, I was never a big fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender, honestly I have only seen a few episodes, but when I first laid my eyes on this I had a strange uncanny similiarity between the style of that show and your piece. I'm not an artist, so maybe its just me.
